So close…

2006-09-25 (Monday)

After about a couple dozen too many hours, over 900 lines of new code, and lots of finger food, I’ve finally produced something that almost conforms to the specs of my second compilers’ assignment. There’s still one major bug, but I’m willing to let it be until the morning.

Six more assignments to go!

(I’m gonna die…)

Oops…

Despite having been planning for months to try and get away from various responsibilities, it would appear that I’ve once again gotten myself elected to something, only this time, it’s within the SFSS it self, instead of just the CSSS. It’s not that I’ve failed to shed my previous responsibilities, per se, but that my net loss of responsibilities is not quite as high as I had originally planned.

On the bright side, it is a position with stipend; I’ll probably really need that extra bit of financial help in a couple of months.

I’m back!

Internet was hooked up today.

Yays for internets!

Moved!

2006-09-02 (Saturday)

After some exhausting packing, moving, and last-minute moving-company hiring (for extremely cheap) curtesey of Mom and Connections, I am now officially moved out of my parents’ house as of September 1st.

There’s still more of my stuff that needs to be moved, and I’ve yet to order us internet, but, otherwise, we’ve settled in nicely at our new place. I’ll be going back-and-forth between my new place and my parents’ for the next while moving whatever else I need, and bum an internet connection to get some business done.

Finally, here’s my horoscope until next Thursday, according to The Georgia Straight—I got a pretty good giggle out of the first part:

You’ve got some downtime. Use it to contemplate what your’re going to do this fall. Rest up and enjoy, for soon you will be busy putting your projects together. September 1 is a day of unique happenings.
